Information we may collect
Depending on the services enabled at launch, we may collect an email address when you subscribe, contact details and message content when you make an enquiry, and limited technical information such as device type, approximate location, referring page and pages visited.
We should only collect information that is reasonably necessary to publish the guide, respond to enquiries, provide requested updates, maintain security and understand broad site performance.
How information may be used
- Send an email newsletter you requested.
- Respond to editorial corrections, commercial enquiries or other messages.
- Operate, secure and improve the website.
- Meet legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not intend to sell personal information or use sensitive information for advertising profiles.
Service providers and overseas processing
The final policy must name, or accurately describe, hosting, newsletter, analytics and form providers. Some providers may process information outside Australia. The relevant countries and safeguards should be added once those providers are selected.
Access, correction and complaints
You may ask what personal information is held about you or request a correction by emailing privacy@example.com. Replace this placeholder with an actively monitored address before launch.

Retention and security
Personal information should be kept only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law. Reasonable technical and organisational steps should be used to protect it, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
