Sydney can make a morning feel like a complete day. Bronte is one of the places where that happens with very little planning.

Arrive before the promenade fills

The useful window is the one before everyone has somewhere else to be. Walk down while the shadows still reach across the pool deck and the regular swimmers have the lanes to themselves.

Conditions change quickly on the coast. Check current surf and pool information before entering the water, and choose the walk when the sea has other plans.

Keep the plan deliberately short

A swim, breakfast and one stretch of the coastal path is enough. The point is not to collect stops; it is to give the morning a shape.

Head south for bigger views or turn back through the neighbourhood streets. Either way, leave a little earlier than you think you need to.
